I found Jesus March16 1991 Age of 23 heading down a path of no where; alcohol had taken a grip. I felt there was something better than the path I was taking but like many; new nothing but the same old life style you were raised in. I was working with a young man like my self who the opportunity to fine the desire he was looking for but refused to take action, and than God moved on to the scene. I guess what my Pastor & Sister D.L Rogers did understand at the time God had a different plan. In a moment of time God delivered me from generations of alcohol abuise. After my conversion, God had called me to the service of the Lord I still didn't listen to the small still voice of  the Lord, and began a journey of several new business venture along with several new business purchases. All failed in failure not that I couldn't perform the work that was easy. I was very good at what I do in Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, and Carpet Cleaning. Handling $$$$ God was providing was another, and also entering into business transactions that my pocket book may not be able to support if something didn't work out as planned. What emerge was bitterness, broken heart, and pride of life. What really emerge was that was most important almost cost me my married of 17 years. I'm so thankful that my wife stood by myside, what a great christian women. But God still had a better plan if I would only listen to the small still voice. See after my conversion I was doing the work of the Lord winning souls left and right for the kingdom but bitterness set in. You see even though I wasn't an alcoholic anymore after my conversion.  The devil will drive a wedge in where ever he can. Until one day the days became nights the nights became weeks of not sleeping, God was knocking but the rock or the boulder on my shoulder was hard to get through but God always wins when there is a willing soul. The rest of my life will be dedicated to the service of Lord which he will direct. My soul desire is to see as many souls saved before it is to late, and God closes the door like in the days of Noah.
